My life has been seriously hectic lately.
I've not taken any photographs in ages, and I've not even been on DA for ages. So I come on today to catch up, and discover I have over 100 messages (journals, etc. included) and nearly 600 deviations to look through. I am never leaving it this long again! haha.

So college is going pretty well. I've got tons of assignments to do, which shouldn't actually be too time-consuming, once I get started on them, but each time I try to start I get as far as sorting through my notes and putting them into some sort of order for the essay or whatever and then when I try and write up the assignments my mind goes blank. Argh!

I think I need to get away from it all for a while, clear my head, then try again. I have a 4 day weekend ahead of me, so hopefully it'll give me time to relax and get some of it done. Most of it isn't due in for another few weeks, but I really want to have a chance to hand in my work before the deadline so I have time to change it for a better grade. I don't just want to pass the course, I want my work to be the very best that it can possibly be.
That was always my problem back when I was at school. I'd do as little work as possible to get a fairly decent mark. I could've been doing so much better, but I never tried. I need to change my attitude on coursework and assignments.

I'm only in 3 days a week, but its from 9 to 5 each day, a lot of it is practical work so I'm on my feet for a lot of the day (which will be good practice I suppose) and by the time I get home I'm so exhausted that I can't be bothered to do anything. Weekends are still spent out in town, and I know I'm not getting out enough, but when I am out and about I feel as if I should be at home working. When I'm at home, I never seem to find the motivation to do any work though, so it doesn't make a huge difference.
Actually, I seem to get more work done when I'm out and about in town, waiting for buses or to meet with friends. Weird, huh?

So other than college, I've not really been up to all that much. I have a new boyfriend, who is lovely. Its still early days, but it seems to be going really well so far, so I'm hoping this is going to last.

Still trying to find a job and not having much luck with it. Need to sort myself out some money rather sharpish really. =/ Fingers crossed that I'll find one soon.
